Naturosa: The new generation of roses for sustainable retail

Naturosa is now available for the garden center market. It is a new series of roses that combines sustainability and easy maintenance with natural ornamental value. The series merges the benefits of existing rose varieties, creating a future-proof product for the garden center channel. These roses are aligned with consumer desires for natural, biodiverse, and low-maintenance gardens.

These vigorous plants can be grown without chemicals at the nursery, in the store, and in private gardens, making them the sustainable rose alternative for the future. The roses are propagated from cuttings (not budded), which means they require no special pruning or care. They bloom abundantly and continuously from May until frost and are fully self-cleaning. Their strong growth makes them climate resilient and resistant to diseases and pests. The single flowers and formation of rose hips are valuable for biodiversity.

Award-winning in all European climates
The Naturosa varieties are bred by Belgian rose breeder Martin Vissers, whose work has long been celebrated in the international rose world. The series has won awards at rose trials from Madrid to Warsaw, underlining its climate adaptability.

Retailer benefits
Naturosa launches with over 10 varieties this year, offering mixed trolleys in a wide range of colors in both groundcover and upright forms. The plants are delivered with a clearly recognizable label line and matching POS materials. A website and social media campaign support sales. The long flowering period with self-cleaning flowers and the vigorous plants ensure a long, stable sales period and low losses on the shop floor. The long-lasting blooms and easy care also contribute to high customer satisfaction.
