The 2025 edition of FlowerTrials Boskoop was a success, as hundreds of visitors gathered and responded enthusiastically to the latest innovations from Kolster, HOKO Breeding and Walter Blom Plants. From the very first moment, attendees could vote for their favorite novelty, something that happened en masse.

Winner of the vote: Polemonium Violet Heart
With a convincing lead, Polemonium Violet Heart (pictured right) from Walter Blom Plants was voted the public's favorite. This new variety excelled in color, durability and appearance.

Experience, taste, admire
Visitors were able to immerse themselves in a range of perennials and cut flowers - innovative, colourful and versatile. And those who got hungry could indulge in original snacks with edible flowers, served by Dr. Food.

"It was truly inspiring. The innovations, the atmosphere, the enthusiasm... you can tell that these companies work with passion and vision," said Petra van Dijk, garden center entrepreneur from North Holland.

Wouter den Hollander (Kolster), Matthieu Eveleens (HOKO Breeding) and Stephen Page (Walter Blom Plants) thanked everyone for visiting their location in Boskoop in a statement.
